Minutes from May read and approved
President's Report
- Footloose
- Discussed major changes to budget, including a plan to record musicians for rehearsals and use live band for shows. Also increased the minimum number of students from 15 to 20 for budget purposes.
- Accompanists will be Destiny (piano) and Priscila (synthesizer); we are working on a bass player; piano, synth and bass only needed to record rehearsal tracks. The rest of the music will be available September 19.
- Footloose budget was reviewed and approved as is.
- Update audition flyers, highlighting reduced tuition information.

- Auditions are Aug 7, 8 & 9. Beth to coordinate promotion.
- Sheryl Strong has resigned as Treasurer and Libby Majors has moved. We need to recruit more Board Members to fill these openings.
- Linda DiBiase will be taking Sara Elliott's place as Secretary.
Marketing & Membership Report
- Diana will send letters to YPIT, Acker Trust & Lambtech to solicit membership renewals
- Kari & Margo to solicit program ads (need $1000)
Fundraising Report
- To discuss at next meeting - fundraiser ideas, including
- Renaissance dinner;
- Silent auction;
- Dancing with the Stars (mayor, etc).
Treasurer's Report
- Current balance is $131.64. See Balance Sheet and P&L Statement.
Volunteer Report
- Beth needs help distributing and posting flyers for Footloose Auditions. Diana would like to hit all the High Schools the first week of school in August.
