Ashley Fine
Dance Instructor
Ashley Fine has a life-long history of studying, teaching and performing dance. Her background primarily includes ballet, modern/contemporary, improvisation and yoga. She has studied under such artists as Mary Cochrane (Paul Taylor Company), Ann Westwick (Martha Graham Co.), Andrew Needhammer (Ballet Arizona), Molissa Finnley, Bella Lewitzky, Francis Cohen and Elina Mooney. She has performed with various groups and companies such as Human Nature Dance Theater (Northern AZ), the Mills College Repertory Dance Company (Oakland, CA), Center Dance Ensemble (Phoenix, AZ) and PFAA (Prescott, AZ).
Ashley has taught dance since 1995 at various dance studios and elementary schools and has led classes and workshops in Arizona, California and Texas. She has taught various classes at the Academy of Performing Arts since 2002.
In addition to teaching dance, Ashley teaches third grade at Primavera School. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Mills College and a master’s degree in elementary education from Northern Arizona University. She is married and has two small children, Sedona and Noble, who love to “boogey down” with their mom!

The Academy of Performing Arts and Health in Motion Yoga have come together to form a new studio in Chino Valley called "Body Language".
At the corner of Hwy 89 and Rd. 2 North across from Walgreen’s, the newly renovated 3200 square foot studio will be offering dance, voice, guitar, piano, zumba and yoga instruction.
