Jake's career in theater began early. He has been performing since the age of eight with various production groups such as Missoula Children's Theater, Prescott Fine Arts Association, and The Bradshaw Mountain Theatrical Troupe and now, The Academy of Performing Arts. He is currently studying under the instruction of Bruce Lanning through Yavapai College.

Returning after a two year commitment in the United States Army, Jake made his directorial debut with the Academy's Production of "Seussical the Musical" and will continue in his theatrical ambitions with "Footloose" in the fall of '08. He is in the process of obtaining a Creative Writing degree with an emphasis in Playwriting and hopes to make the world of theater his sole focus in life.
