Kate Howell

Voice Instructor

Kate's professional background is predominantly in musical theatre, and she is a proud long-standing member of Actors' Equity Association (the stage actors' union).

She has performed at theatres across the country and abroad as an actor, singer, and musician, as well as serving as a music producer for one of the world's largest advertising agencies.

Kate has also studied voice with many top coaches and instructors in Chicago and NYC, and she has herself worked as both an accompanist and vocal coach since 1990. Performing credits include national and international tours of Evita, national tour of The British Rock Symphony with Roger Daltrey, Actors' Theatre of Phoenix, Houston's Theatre Under the Stars, North Carolina Theatre, The York Theatre in NYC, Arkansas Repertory Theatre, Candlelight Forum Theatre of Chicago, Bristol Riverside Theatre, TheatreFest NJ, and Mesa's Broadway Palm West, among others. Favorite musical theatre roles: Eva, Audrey, Marian Paroo, Oolie, Guenevere, & Edwin Drood.

Kate is currently a member of Yavapai College's Master Chorale, the A Cappella Choir at American Evangelical Lutheran Church, and the Prescott Valley Arts and Culture Commission.
