Libby Majors

Dance Instructor

Libby has had a passion for dance since early childhood.

She has developed her skills through various disciplines throughout her life. Her foundation of movement technique comes from training in ballet, figure skating, modern and hatha yoga.

Libby danced with the Moment in Time Dance Company in Ashland, Oregon just after high school. She trained with that company for two years where she studied Martha Graham technique. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Integrative Studies in Dance and Spirituality from Prescott College.

In college she focused her studies in the areas of composition, improvisation, dance as a tool for social and environmental activism, and dance as a community building forum. Libby continues to perform and teach in the Prescott area, sharing her joy for movement, and the expressive potential of the human spirit to individuals of all ages.
